Frequently asked questions & Insights
There is nothing more important to us than safety. Before it ever reaches your home, the VezaFlex™ high chair will undergo extensive testing to exceed applicable ASTM and governmental safety and compliance standards.
We’ve also worked alongside pediatric physicians and specialists from the start, bringing pediatric best practices into the design to support healthy positioning, development and everyday use.
Parents and children need flexibility, not only as kids grow, but in the everyday moments of family life. That’s why the VezaFlex™, developed alongside board-certified pediatric physicians and specialists, offers adaptable sitting and standing options once children are developmentally ready to stand --accommodating real-time needs with ergonomic design, clinical insight and a focus on family connection.
We’re deeply committed to thoughtful, health-informed design that honors children’s development and growing independence. As with any product designed for young children, adult supervision is essential to ensure their safety during use.
*If you're unsure whether your child is developmentally ready to be in a standing position, please consult with your child's pediatrician or licensed medical professional. Veza’s products, services, guidance or recommendations are not a substitute for medical guidance or care.
The VezaFlex™ high chair is designed to cater to your child’s daily needs and grow with them for years to come. The sitting mode can be used starting around 4–6 months, once your baby shows signs of developmental readiness—such as independent head control, the ability to sit upright with support and sufficient core strength for safe feeding posture. The standing mode becomes appropriate generally around 9 or 10 months, after your child hits key milestones that demonstrate their ability to stand safely.
As your child grows, the VezaFlex™ transitions into a big kid chair and even converts into a toddler step stool—perfect for curious helpers who want to be part of the action.
*It's important to remember that every child develops at their own pace.
*Always consult your pediatrician or licensed medical professional if you have any questions about your child, including their developmental readiness. Veza’s products, services, guidance or recommendations are not a substitute for medical guidance or care.
Typically, children are developmentally ready to stand with support around 9 months old—often around the time they begin pulling themselves up to stand, like they might while holding onto the side of a coffee table. However, every child develops at their own pace, so it’s important to watch for key milestones like independent sitting and strong core control.

The VezaFlex™ is measured for standard table heights and thoughtfully designed to bring your child right up to the dining table. Whether sitting or standing, they will feel included, connected and part of the mealtime experience, not left on the sidelines.
Unlike toddler towers or kitchen helpers, the VezaFlex™ high chair is designed to support children from infancy through early childhood. Toddler towers aren’t designed for babies who still need appropriate support and stabilization. For instance, a typically developing 9-month-old is rarely able to stand independently without support. Traditional towers and kitchen helpers don’t provide the same stabilization, restraint or positioning of a high chair—important distinctions when it comes to younger children and mealtime.
The VezaFlex™ high chair is different. Developed with gudance from pediatric experts around developmentally appropriate positioning, support and safety, the VezaFlex™ gives children more flexibility at the table—allowing them to sit or, once developmentally ready, stand with support, secured by a 5-point harness and between-the-legs safety strap. Then, as your child grows, it transitions into a developmentally appropriate toddler chair and also converts into a step stool once they’re ready to safely stand independently and engage at counter height.
In short, toddler towers weren’t designed for babies or to function as high chairs. The VezaFlex™, however, was designed around your little one’s ever-changing needs—adapting to properly support them (and you!) in the moment and as they grow.

Have you ever sat at a high-top bar stool at a restaurant only to find your feet dangling because there was nowhere to place them? It’s hard to settle in, stay comfortable or fully enjoy your meal when your body lacks support. For children whose bodies are still developing, that support matters even more.
Without proper foot support or “grounding,” a child’s posture, stability and positioning can suffer, all of which play an important role in safe, effective swallowing and help children settle in, stay comfortable and focus on eating.
And for children, postural stability starts at the feet. That’s why grounding in a high chair is essential—not just for comfort, but for safety, focus and healthy development. Without it, they’re more likely to squirm, lose focus and even refuse to eat—because their bodies don’t feel safe or in control. The VezaFlex™ provides this support in both sitting and standing modes.
It may seem like a small detail, but supported feet make a big difference. So, take it from us and, “Don’t do the dangle!”
Pro tip: The same rule applies with potty training—grounded feet matter there, too!
